The B.R. Hodgson Group was created in 1976, drawing together three companies, which until then had traded as individual organisations but with common directors.

The original B.R. Hodgson company opened its doors as a traditional plasterer 40 years ago in 1967. Based in Wick on the outskirts of Bristol, it was joined in 1970 by Ferson Limited and in 1974 by Ferson Construction Services Limited. These three formed the group which later added Hodgson Decorating in 1985.

More recently Ferson Construction Services and Hodgson Decorating have become Trading Divisions of B.R. Hodgson Limited and Ferson Limited respectively.

B.R. Hodgson Limited specialise in providing trade packages to major contractors, construction managers and management contractors over a wide geographical area in the U.K. with current turnover in excess of £20m.
